Great Grandfather Davidson served in the Kings Own Scottish Borderers (KOSB) from 1926-1934. He endeavoured in many sporting activites during this timeframe such as the image below with the cross country run team. On several occasions they were winners amongst other arm forces regiments. During this timeframe at helping other enlisted men who were in the cross country team he started to develop and work on the Family Liniment. Which is the original formula that is still formulated today under four generations.

As you can see from the image above, Great Grandfather Davidson served his time during WW2. During this timeframe he served his time in conflicts such as Dunkirk, India as well as in Singapore. During this period he also fought the Japanese and on one conflict in India he ended up with a bayonet in the shoulder. On Another occasion during hand to hand combat he single handedly went through 12 japanese soldiers before reaching the commander who presented him and surrendered. He had been making the liniment during the conflicts, and was using it on fellow enlisted men during the war to help them recover so they could keep on fighting.
